Hello, I’m Jamie!

I am a freelance writer, editor, and production assistant open to new opportunities.

During the day, I direct the news at KARE 11, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a decade of experience in writing and editing, as well as six years in broadcast news direction and production, I love crafting compelling stories that connect with audiences—whether on television or in print.

I hold a BA in communications and English with an emphasis on writing from the University of Minnesota, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to succeed in storytelling and media.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my dogs, friends, and family, and staying up-to-date on the latest news in television, film, and pop culture.
